ktMINE was an exhibitor at this year’s Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) Annual Meeting on March 12-15 2017, in Hollywood, Florida. AUTM focuses on professional development in technology transfer and the meeting attracts nearly every academic research institution in the world. It’s known as the premier annual face-to-face meeting for those responsible for marketing, valuation, protecting, licensing or negotiating university intellectual property (IP). Featured at the meeting was the keynote, “Top 10 Court Decisions That Impact the Way We Negotiate and Draft Patent License Agreements,” and fireside chat, “What role does IP play in innovation?”.

In the exhibit hall, ktMINE showcased our Technology Transfer Office Suite. The suite of applications takes the difficulty out of commercialization and lightens the research load for TTOs. It can be used to find potential partners, identify potential deal terms, value technologies, and determine commercial viability. ktMINE’s platform is a comprehensive repository of IP data and analytics that links IP information to reveal unseen connections and insights. Licensing and royalty rate market data connected to patent data provide unparalleled insights into comparable technologies and deal structures.
