Continuing our goal of bringing full-text patent data to the market like no one has before, we are happy to announce our newest product enhancement. ktMINE’s latest addition is designed to improve our user’s experience when analyzing independent or dependent claims. In many ways, being able to quickly identify independent from dependent claims on a patent can be extremely valuable. Being able to see this represented within the ktMINE platform will greatly improve research speed and make the analysis of trends and potential value within a patent more efficient.
This ktMINE enhancement is designed to visually indicate whether or not a claim is independent or dependent upon the first view. Within the Full-Text View, independent claims will appear left-justified whereas dependent claims will appear indented to the degree to which they are dependent.Â
