On May 23, 2017 the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released the discussion draft BEPS Action 8 Implementation Guidance on Hard-to-Value Intangibles. The public was invited to comment on the draft “which provides guidance on the approach to pricing transfers of hard-to-value intangibles described in Chapter VI of the Transfer Pricing Guidelines.”
President & CEO of ktMINE, David R. Jarcyzk and Director of ktMINE, John Wiora focused their comments on the availability of timely data and its ability to limit “information asymmetry.” Specifically, they call to focus the availability of data surrounding movement of intangibles between related parties, merger & acquisition activity, and company agreement inventories.
