ktMINE Listed on IRS Announcement and Report Concerning APAs

2018 marks the fourth straight year ktMINE has been listed as a source for comparable data by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on the Announcement and Report Concerning Advance Pricing Agreements. We have been a part of this exclusive group since the IRS began using ktMINE’s full suite of applications for comparables data and IP research. Users can rest assured that when using ktMINE, they are using the platform trusted and used by the IRS.

IAM/ktMINE US Patent 100

Continuing our relationship with IAM Magazine, ktMINE’s Megan Rourke and Eric Podlogar were instrumental in the recently released IAM/ktMINE US Patent 100. The list was compiled using ktMINE data and lists the entities that owned the 100 largest patent portfolios of granted, in-force US patents and pending patent applications (as of January 1, 2018). The list is available online and was published in issue 89.

Welcome Michelle and Jason

Michelle Martone

Michelle joins the ktMINE business development team as a Sales Executive covering the IP market. Michelle brings years of valuable sales experience from previous IP sales roles. Michelle received her law degree from The John Marshall Law School and started her career as an Assistant States Attorney in Cook County.

Michelle once ran the Chicago marathon and qualified for the Boston with her time. In an ironic turn of events, she was unable to run the Boston marathon because of injuries she sustained while running the Chicago marathon. Welcome to the team Michelle!

Jason Hamje

Jason joins the ktMINE technology team as a Data/Software Engineer. His impressive coding skills will allow ktMINE’s technology team to build out our extensive data sets and bring more valuable IP information to the platform.

Jason hails from Anchorage, Alaska and went to school for Music Composition at the University of Oregon. A self-taught coder, Jason plays several instruments and enjoys playing/developing video games, 3D modeling, and poker. Welcome to the team Jason!
