CEO David R. Jarczyk to Speak on Panel at the 5th Annual University of San Diego Transfer Pricing Symposium

President and CEO, David R. Jarczyk, will speak at the fifth annual University of San Diego Transfer Pricing Symposium on April 27-28, 2017, at their main campus in San Diego, California. The event is designed for professional service providers in global tax, finance, accounting, and legal areas, and will bring government, academic, and industry experts together to discuss key issues facing Transfer Pricing (TP) professionals.

At ktMINE, David is focused on finding, organizing, and connecting the world’s IP information to provide the most comprehensive data access to IP owners and analysts across the globe. David will leverage his extensive expertise in TP and royalty and licensing data as part of the “It’s Academic!… Current Macro and Micro Themes” panel. This year, the panel will discuss a macro view of how proposed legislative changes may impact the approach to TP economic analysis. The panel will also discuss, from a micro perspective, how software tools can aid TP practitioners on intangible asset analysis given current directions in IRS enforcement.

“In light of recent high profile tax cases and the BEPS guidelines, it is imperative that TP professionals understand the impact of these developments, as well as those of neglecting available data,” said Jarczyk. “The University of San Diego Transfer Pricing Symposium is the perfect forum to discuss these issues and educate TP professional on the tools, such as ktMINE, that will streamline their process and strengthen their analyses.”
